Please note:
Warning: a chiropractor will care for a patient with a medical DISEASE condition only with consultation with other professionals. Chiropractors REFER to other health professionals, or make sure opinion has been sought in the case of cancer or any life-threatening disease or condition or infection that is medically treatable. We respect patient choice for medication and vaccine use and explain known risks involved. Vaccines work and drugs work- that is why they are used. HOWEVER, we do refer to mounting research that shows human choice is just as important (if not more more) than human variability that causes some drugs to kill effectively as cure.
That is why chiropractors study as much science as medical doctors and differential diagnosis and pathology subjects; to know WHEN to refer.
They study more bone radiology than medical doctors.
Chiropractors have been exclusively manually treating non-surgical spine related conditions longer than any other currently registered primary health profession (ie: physio, doctors, osteopaths).
CO-MANAGEMENT by a chiropractor can be of benefit, just as in any condition from back pain to referred stomach ache.
If your chiropractor does not refer you for a treatment you feel you need, ask them, or get another opinion.
For any questions pertaining to safety, email me or look at my site: www.chiropracticsafety.com.au
For any questions about formal research, we have quite a bit of evidence on most conditions, so feel free to ask.
Some of the following are CASE STUDIES they may have NO bearing on your own condition.
Higher level evidence is also included as it appears.
